Who We Are

Bozeman Mutual Aid Network (BMAN) is a community-driven resource created to connect people, organizations, and opportunities throughout the Gallatin Valley.

Our network serves as a centralized hub where residents can discover local mutual aid initiatives, explore community events, find resources, and learn how to get involved.

We recognize that many groups throughout our community are already doing important work. Rather than duplicating those efforts, we aim to increase their visibility, encourage collaboration, and make information easier to access.

Our Mission

To connect and strengthen communities throughout the Gallatin Valley by increasing awareness of mutual aid initiatives, community resources, events, and opportunities for neighbors to support one another.

Our Vision

A connected, inclusive, and resilient Gallatin Valley where individuals and organizations work together, resources are accessible, and everyone has opportunities to contribute to the well-being of their community.

Our Values

Community Connection: Building relationships that strengthen our neighborhoods and communities.

Collaboration: Encouraging organizations and individuals to work together while respecting their independence.

Inclusivity: Welcoming people from all backgrounds, identities, and walks of life.

Accessibility: Making information about community resources and opportunities easier to find.

Mutual Support: Recognizing that everyone has something to contribute and everyone may need support at different times.

Community Empowerment: Helping individuals discover opportunities to participate, share resources, and make a difference.

What We Do

  • Maintain a directory of local mutual aid groups and community organizations.
  • Share upcoming community events, initiatives, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Connect residents with existing resources and services.
  • Highlight community projects and collaborative efforts.
  • Help organizations increase awareness of their work.

What We Do Not Do

Bozeman Mutual Aid Network does not directly provide financial assistance, emergency services, or case management.

We do not manage or oversee the independent organizations listed on our website.

Instead, we help connect individuals with organizations and resources that may be able to assist.

Together, we can build a more connected Gallatin Valley.
